Monopatia Mountain Resort Hotel Policy

This Hotel Policy forms part of the terms applicable to all guests staying at or using the services of Monopatia Mountain Resort.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure a comfortable, safe and respectful stay for all guests.

1. Check-in and check-out
Check-in: [15:00-21:00]
Check-out: [8:30-11:00]
Early check-in is subject to availability and must be confirmed by the resort.
Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
Guests arriving outside standard check-in hours should contact the reservations team in advance.
2. Guest identification
All guests may be required to present a valid passport, identity card or other official identification upon arrival.
Guest details may be collected for registration, security, tax, operational and legal purposes.
The reservation holder must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the reservation and for the conduct of all accompanying guests.
3. Payment and guarantee
Guests may be asked to provide a valid payment card, deposit or other guarantee at check-in.
The resort may charge the card or deposit for unpaid balances, minibar charges, damages, missing items, late check-out fees, excessive cleaning or other approved charges.
4. Maximum occupancy
The maximum occupancy of each room, suite or villa must be respected.
Additional guests are not permitted unless confirmed by the resort in advance.
Extra beds, sofa beds and baby cots are subject to availability, room type and possible extra charges.
5. Children
Children are welcome, subject to the occupancy rules of each room category.
Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of children at all times.
Some rooms, facilities, experiences or services may have age restrictions for safety, comfort or operational reasons.
6. Pets
Pets are accepted only with prior written confirmation from Monopatia Mountain Resort.
The resort may apply restrictions based on room category, pet size, number of pets or operational conditions.
Guests bringing pets are responsible for:
* keeping pets under control at all times
* preventing disturbance to other guests
* keeping pets off beds and furniture, unless otherwise permitted
* cleaning up after pets
* any damage, stains, odours or additional cleaning caused by pets
Pets may not be allowed in certain indoor areas, restaurant spaces, wellness areas or activity areas.
A pet cleaning fee may apply: [150€]
7. Smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms, suites, villas or indoor common areas.
Smoking may be allowed only in designated outdoor areas, where available.
If smoking takes place in a non-smoking area, the resort will charge a cleaning, deodorising and damage fee of minimum 200€.
8. Fireplace policy
Some rooms, suites and villas include fireplaces.
Fireplaces must be used only according to the resort’s instructions.
Guests must:
* use only firewood or materials provided or approved by the resort
* never leave the fireplace unattended
* keep children and pets away from the fireplace
* not move burning materials
* not use candles, flammable liquids, paper waste or unauthorised fuels
* ensure the fire is safely extinguished before sleeping or leaving the room
The resort may temporarily restrict fireplace use for safety, weather, maintenance or operational reasons.
Guests are responsible for any damage or safety issue caused by improper fireplace use.
9. Quiet hours and guest conduct
Guests are expected to respect the peaceful character of the resort, the village and other guests.
Quiet hours: 22:00 – 10:00 & 15:00-17:30.
Loud music, disruptive behaviour or disturbance to other guests are not permitted.
The resort reserves the right to refuse service, request a guest to leave, or charge for damages if guest conduct is inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive.
10. Room care and damages
Guests are expected to take reasonable care of their room, suite, villa and all resort facilities.
The resort may charge guests for:
* damage to furniture, equipment, fabrics, flooring, walls or fixtures
* broken or missing items
* lost keys [50€] or access cards [20€]
* excessive cleaning
* stains, odours or smoke damage
* misuse of fireplaces, appliances or facilities
* damage caused by pets or children
11. Housekeeping
Housekeeping is provided according to the resort’s operating policy and room category.
Standard refresh may include bed arrangement, towel change where required, light cleaning and bathroom refresh.
Guests may request additional housekeeping, towel changes or linen changes, subject to availability and possible additional charge.
To support responsible use of water and energy, towels and linens may not be changed daily unless requested or required.
12. Laundry service
Laundry service may be available upon request and subject to availability.
Laundry is charged by bag, item or service type.

The resort is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect garment care instructions, delicate fabrics or items not suitable for standard laundry service.
13. Minibar
Minibar items, where available, are charged separately.
Guests are responsible for minibar consumption during their stay.
Prices will be provided in-room.
14. Breakfast
Breakfast is served according to the resort’s operating schedule.
Breakfast hours: [08:30 – 11:00]
Breakfast location, format and menu may vary depending on season, occupancy and operational conditions.
Guests should inform the resort in advance of allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.
15. Restaurant and lounge services
Restaurant, lounge, private dining and bar services may operate seasonally or according to availability.
Opening hours, menus, prices and service formats may change without prior notice.
Reservations may be required for certain restaurant, lounge, private dining or event services.
16. Allergies and dietary requirements
Guests must inform the resort in advance of any food allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions.
The resort will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests, but cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens or cross-contamination.
Guests with severe allergies should contact the resort before arrival.
17. Experiences and outdoor activities
Experiences and outdoor activities may include hiking, rafting, canyoning, Jeep tours, local tours, tastings or other nature and cultural activities.
All experiences are subject to:
* availability
* seasonality
* weather conditions
* minimum participation
* safety requirements
* physical ability
* partner availability
Some activities may be operated by third-party providers.
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by guides, staff or partners.
The resort may cancel, reschedule or modify an experience for safety, weather or operational reasons.
18. Parking and access
Parking availability and access instructions may vary depending on occupancy, weather and village conditions.
Guests should follow the arrival and parking instructions provided by the resort.
The resort is not responsible for damage, theft or loss involving vehicles or items left inside vehicles, unless caused by proven fault of the resort.
19. Accessibility & Rooms Located Further from Main Facilities
Monopatia Resort is composed of several buildings and accommodation units spread across the property.
Depending on the room, suite, studio, or villa, access may involve walking uphill, using outdoor paths, or going up and down stairs. This layout is part of the traditional village-style character of the resort and offers privacy, calm, and a closer connection to the natural surroundings.
Guests with reduced mobility, medical needs or specific accessibility requirements who may require step-free access, easier access, or rooms located closer to the main facilities are kindly requested to contact the hotel by phone before booking so that the most suitable available option can be recommended. This is especially important for guests with mobility needs, elderly guests, families with young children, or anyone who may find uphill walking or stairs difficult.
Room allocation is subject to availability and confirmed room category. While the hotel will always try to assist, specific accessibility requests must be confirmed directly by the hotel in advance.
20. Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
The resort is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items unless caused by proven fault of the resort.
Guests are encouraged to keep valuable items secure and to contact reception immediately if an item is lost.
21. Lost and found
Items found after departure may be kept by the resort for a reasonable period of up to a month.
Guests are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of shipping lost items.
Perishable, unsafe or low-value items may be discarded at the resort’s discretion.
22. Visitors
Visitors who are not registered guests must be approved by the resort.
The resort may refuse access to visitors for safety, privacy, capacity or operational reasons.
Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless added to the reservation and approved by the resort.
23. Photography and commercial use
Personal photography is permitted, provided it does not disturb other guests or staff.
Professional photography, video production, drone use, commercial content creation, events, interviews or brand shoots require prior written approval from Monopatia Mountain Resort.
Drone use is subject to applicable law, privacy rules and local restrictions.
24. Security Cameras / CCTV
For the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property, surveillance cameras may operate in selected common areas of Monopatia Resort.
Cameras may be located in areas such as entrances, outdoor common spaces, parking areas, reception access points, and other shared facilities.
CCTV is used only for security, safety, and property-protection purposes.
No surveillance cameras are installed inside guest rooms, bathrooms, private accommodation areas, or other areas where guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Recorded footage is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and is accessed only when necessary by authorised personnel.
25. Environmental responsibility
Guests are encouraged to respect the natural environment of Zagori and the local community.
Please use water, energy and heating responsibly, avoid unnecessary waste and respect paths, villages, wildlife and protected areas.
26. Local Nature & Wildlife Safety
Monopatia Resort is located in a natural mountain environment, surrounded by local vegetation, stone paths, gardens, and open countryside. As with many rural and mountainous areas, guests may occasionally encounter local wildlife or insects, including but not limited to scorpions, snakes, wild boars, insects, and other small animals.
These encounters are part of the natural environment of the area, but guests are kindly asked to take reasonable precautions during their stay.
For your safety, we recommend that guests:
* Avoid walking barefoot outdoors, especially at night.
* Wear appropriate shoes when walking on stone paths, garden areas, or natural terrain.
* Use a light when walking outside after dark.
* Avoid placing hands or feet into rocks, bushes, wood piles, or dark outdoor areas.
* Keep room doors and windows without a mesh closed when not in the room, especially during evening hours.
* Do not approach, feed, touch, or disturb any wild animals.
* Keep children supervised in outdoor areas.
* Inform reception immediately if any wildlife or insect is noticed near or inside the room.
Wild boars and other larger animals should never be approached. If seen, guests should remain calm, keep a safe distance, and notify the hotel team.
The hotel takes reasonable care to maintain the property, but due to the natural location of the resort, the presence of wildlife or insects cannot be fully excluded.
27. Health, safety and emergencies
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the resort.
In case of emergency, guests should contact reception or local emergency services.

28. Right to refuse service
Monopatia Mountain Resort reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation or request a guest to leave if the guest:
* violates hotel policies
* causes damage
* behaves aggressively or abusively
* disturbs other guests
* creates a safety risk
* exceeds room occupancy
* refuses to pay applicable charges
In such cases, refunds may not be provided.
